The normal restaurant opening hours are Wednesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. We are shut on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday but are available for private hire bookings or wine events.
Our maximum restaurant capacity is 34 guests with the additional option of our garden terrace available in summer. We are happy to take all bookings from small tables to the full restaurant.
Before making a booking, please be aware that at busy times, it is our policy to request credit card details. We cannot confirm your reservation until these have been supplied. If you should fail to arrive or cancel your reservation within 48 hours, unless we can fill your table, you will be charged a fee of £50 per person.
It is extremely important that you inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking. Due to the new allergen laws in the UK and EU, you must advise us before ordering of any known allergies. Once this information has been shared, we are bound to keep to the guidelines set by he FIR 2014. If you do not inform us in advance of your requests this will limit the menu choices offered on the day of the reservation.
For large bookings we will request that you choose a specific menu in advance and a non refundable deposit will be payable in advance of your reservation.
We will confirm your numbers and details one week before the reservation.
If you wish to reduce the size of your booking, we ask that you let us know at least 72 hours in advance of your dining with us. In the event that the necessary notice is not given, then full payment of the relevant food cost per guest will be charged.
We will not add a service charge to your bill. Any gratuity you may wish to make is left entirely to your discretion.
As it is a legal requirement, we operate a no smoking policy in the Restaurant and The Garden Terrace.
Unless by prior arrangement, leaving times are at 4.00p.m. following lunch, and at midnight following dinner. Due to our position in a residential area, we would appreciate it if your departure at night is made as quietly and thoughtfully as possible.
Please note we do have a ramped entrance at the side of the restaurant and our toilets are up 3 small steps with a sturdy handrail.
Unfortunately The Harrow does not have a designated car park and at busy times, parking can be problematic in the close vicinity of the restaurant. We ask you to be patient and respectful of our neighbours and park with consideration and awareness. Please avoid parking on the white lines opposite and in the road leading up to the restaurant, as it is very important for everyone to retain access in our narrow lanes. If you have any mobility issues, please mention these when booking and we will do our very best to help out by saving a nearby parking space, otherwise you may need to be prepared to walk up to 200m from the bottom of the road where there is plenty of parking available.
You may decide to choose one of our matched flights of wine with your Tasting or Gourmet Menu or you may prefer to select a bottle of two from our extensive Wine List. For larger parties to ensure smooth service and avoid disappointment, we would recommend doing this in advance of your visit. You may like to browse the wine list on our website, but please be aware that this may not be 100% accurate as we are constantly adding and removing wines, so are also happy to help with your selection of wines over the phone or in person at the restaurant, so that we can reserve your favourites in advance.
