“It was with great sadness that after listening to Government advice on Friday 20th March, we were forced to close The Harrow over a week earlier than we had intended.

We thank our guests and suppliers alike for their constant support over the last three months since announcing our intended retirement from The Harrow and we wish you all the very best for the future."


Please note the free meals that we are supplying in the local community, since the outbreak of the Corona Virus, are for people in isolation who cannot afford to pay, if you can afford to pay please use Waitrose or a local pub who are happy to deliver their goods.

Although Roger will retire from the kitchen at the end of March, his “Consultancy and Wine" side will continue, he was recently made a Panel Chair at The International Wine & Spirit Competition, and continues with his role at Decanter World Wine Awards, with whom he has worked for over a decade. His Consultancy work is fast expanding with clients now reaching into Russia and Georgia as well as the celebrity Jackie Fast that he worked with last year.
