The tasting on The Terrace to celebrate Sparklings and Champagnes from around the World was a fabulous success. The English superstar Nyetimber was represented by brand manager Stephan who showed the guests through Demi-Sec, Rose and Classic Nyetimbers and we were delighted to welcome Joy and Richard Morris of the award winning Ancre Hill Estates in Monmouth who showed their Blanc de Blanc and newly released Rose. There were also some classic Champagnes and sparkling wines from Tasmania, South Africa, USA and Franciacorta as well as Spanish Cavas. Steve McGraw of Riedel UK explained the coupe vs the flute debate and canapes were served before a Seafood Lunch for 60 people.
